Our weekly meetings are currently being held in Howard Phillips Hall (HPH) which is located directly across the Washington Center near the Center of Campus. Once in HPH, go to the 4th floor and look for room 403. Our meetings usually run from 4:30pm-5:30pm UCF map

Coordinates the event planning details of the event.

Coordinates speakers for the event, including but not limited to: UCF faculty, local politicians, state politicians, environmental activists, authors, and celebrities.

Faculty:

Coordinates and recruits participating UCF and local community college faculty to host event viewing during classroom time, endorsing and teaching of climate control material.

Contacts local corporations/organizations interested in participating, contributing or endorsing the event.

Raffles/Fundraising:

Gathers information about possible sponsors; coordinates raffles; raffle prizes.

Historian/Volunteering:

Attends events including but not limited to: general meetings, fundraisers, and special projects and records them via photography, video and writing to form a history of the Chapter; recruits, trains, and organizes volunteers to facilitate organization events.

Marketing:

Gathers marketing material to include all graphics, logos, distribution items and Chapter merchandise in an effort to promote the Chapter and its cause.

Coordinates the different exhibit booths for the marketplace, including location, time, availability

Gathers information for presentation about how one can go green and how different foods such as processed vs. organic affect one's body and the environment.

Website/LEAD Scholars:

Updates website as necessary to maintain information up-to-date and serves as liaison to the LEAD Scholars program of the University of Central Florida.
